A Book Recommendation

The Top Five Regrets of the Dying: A Life Transformed by the Dearly Departing by Bronnie Ware has been on my list of books to read for a while. I finally read it, was quite moved by it, and wanted to recommend it in case you haven’t read it.

If you haven’t read it, the title may lead you to believe the book may be a bit somber, but I found the book uplifting and inspiring. The book recounts Bronnie’s experiences and insights working in palliative care. She tells of the time she spent with people facing the end of their life in a beautiful, kindhearted way while passing along the insights they had to share along with her own.

Life is such a miracle, but it’s very easy to take it for granite and fool yourself into thinking you have an endless amount of time. I think the book is a gift, prompting you to evaluate how you’re living your life and to do your best to create a life that will leave you as regret free as possible.
